To ensure you get updates (an email to say somone has replied to your question) from the support group, click on the “email options” tab and you will be presented with a choice of :

ALL I WANT TO DO IS FIND AND JOIN MY TEAM !

If this is your first visit here, the chances are that you have been invite here by your team manager.
To join your team you will first need to make a membership request to the groups administrator (probably your manager). You do this by first finding your team.
You can look for your team by clicking on the “Find a team” option in the admin bar.
Here all our teams are listed, you can search for them in the list, or you can type the name in the search box.

Creating your own team management group on Total Football Club

If you are here to start managing your team for the first time, you will need to choose the option “Create a team” this will take you through the group creation process.
  1. Details
    • you will need to enter your teams name
    • a description of your team
    • add some group tags (group tags are used for other people to find your team, for example : Manchester,Utd,Red,Devils,England,Man,Football,Team,FC
    • click “Create Group and continue”
  2. Settings
    • at the top is the check box “Enable discussion forum”, leave this checked if you want a forum to be created for your group. If not, this can be enabled at a later time.
    • Privacy Options can be selected for your group. You can create a public group where anyone can join. A private group, where membership must requested and the information within is private to the group members. Or you can create a hidden group, this group will not be listed and all members must be invited to.
    • Email subscription defaults allows you to control how members recive acknowledments by default (note: members are able to manually set/change their email options later.) For a working group and regularly active footbll team, you should set this option to “All Emails”.
    • click next
  3. Avatar
    • you can upload and crop a picture that best represents your group
    • click finish

Inviting new members to your team and the Total Football Club

So here is the easiest method of inviting new members to your team (group).
  1. Log into your group
  2. Click on the tab that says “Send Invites”
  3. The very first option you should now see is “Want to invite someone to the group who is not yet a member of the site? Send invitations by email.”  Click on this !
  4. This screen allows you to add email addresses of people you would like to send invites to that are not already members of the Total Football Club.   To make entering all of your email into the “To” box even easier there is an option to “add email addresses from your addess book”
    • this allows you to access your address book from Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook etc and just check the email addresses of the people that you would like to send emails to.
    • Just edit the email as to what you would like it to say.
    • Then at the very bottom put a tick next to your group, the group that you want them to be a member of.
  5. You’re all done.

I hope this short tutorial helps you to get along.
If you have any questions, please post them in the Support group forum.
